SEAMASTER DIVER – 60 YEARS OF BOND
For six decades, James Bond has captivated the world with his unmistakable elegance, irresistible charm, and a lifestyle filled with action and sophistication.
To celebrate this cinematic journey that has inspired generations, OMEG presents the Seamaster Diver 300M – 60 Years of Bond Special Edition, a stainless steel timepiece that pays tribute to every iconic moment of the world’s most famous secret agent.
blue GOLDENEYE
The blue dial in anodized oxalic aluminum features laser-engraved waves and is inspired by the watch worn by James Bond in the 1995 film GoldenEye.
A Tribute to 60 Years
On the dial, at 12 o'clock, a commemorative “60” replaces the traditional inverted triangle, present on almost all Diver 300M models.
SUPER-LUMINOVA
The commemorative “60” at 12 o'clock, the vertical line below, and the minute hand – all emit green light at night. The hour and seconds “lollipop” hands emit a blue light, in line with the rhodium-coated indices.
BOX INSPIRED BY BOND
Collectors of the commemorative steel Seamaster will also receive a blue wooden box with the original Diver 300M pattern, featuring three dots inspired by the classic Bond movie opening sequence, including a secret button on the right side.
THE ANIMATED BOTTOM OF THE BOX
The famous opening sequence, featuring Bond's silhouette and the rotating gun barrel, appears at the bottom of the case under a sapphire crystal decorated with microstructured metallization. The moiré effect animation is linked to the rotation of the 'lollipop' seconds hand, so that the action never stops.
Aluminum
Aluminum has the advantage of being a truly lightweight material used in decorative components. Through anodization, it offers a wide range of colors for creating stunning watch elements such as bezels, applied dial components, and hands. In particular, OMEG’s special anodization process has made it possible to create aluminum bezels that are almost twice as hard as standard versions, making them significantly more resistant to external damage.
Sapphire Crystal
To truly appreciate every detail of a watch, OMEG uses synthetic sapphire crystal with a highly scratch-resistant and anti-reflective coating. Before machining and finishing, sapphire crystals are produced using the Verneuil process, also called flame fusion. This involves melting the raw material using an oxygen/hydrogen flame and crystallizing the molten droplets to form a cylinder. With a grade 9 on the Mohs hardness scale (graded 1-10), the resulting sapphire crystals are virtually scratch-resistant and very hard, ensuring that vision is never impaired.
Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is certainly the most conventional watchmaking material for exteriors, offering beauty, strength, and value for money. OMEG uses 316L stainless steel. Known for its corrosion resistance and high luster after polishing, this material is often the ideal choice for both everyday watches and those designed for highly demanding situations, such as diving and adventure watches.
MESH BRACELET
A brushed stainless steel bracelet adds texture to the metallic look, with the same elegant mesh style as Bond's titanium watch in 007: No Time to Die.
Movement
Self-winding movement with Co-Axial escapement. Certified as a Master Chronometer and approved by METAS, it is resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. Free-sprung balance with silicon balance spring and automatic winding in both directions. Special luxury finish with rhodium-plated rotor and bridges, decorated withCôtes de Genèvein arabesque.
